Hi! I’m Gina.

I was born and raised in the Chicago 'burbs and heavily-seasoned in NYC. I love ALL types of pizza, so please don’t try to make me choose which style is “the best”! I’m a Creative Director, Copywriter, Actor, Singer, Comedian, and unapologetic “face with tears of joy” emoji enthusiast. 😂

I graduated from Millikin University with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a BA in Communication, then moved to NYC the following day. I had never been, so naturally, I ended up crying on the subway on day one. Now, I can proudly say that I survived the concrete jungle for over a decade.

My first job as a New Yorker was serving tables at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company in Times Square. I lived many lives, then came full circle to ViacomCBS (right across 44th Street). The windows of Bubba’s face the TRL studio, which felt beautifully strange and poetic to me. Now, I’m planting little bebe roots for my newest adventure in LA.

I’ve studied improvisation, sketch comedy, and characters at The Magnet Theater (NY), the Upright Citizens Brigade (NY), and The Second City (Chicago). There’s a cool (I think) story about how I ended up shifting my focus from being a chronic over-committer to doing musical theater to doing comedy, but I’ll save that for another day and a shared bottle of whiskey.
